Moving can be stressful but there are things you can do to make it stress-free. Here are just a few we found to be helpful:
1. Eliminate Unneeded Items
Hoarding things cause stress. Getting rid of unneeded and unused items can instantly reduce stress. You can easily start the declutter process by separating items into 3 piles: Selling, Donating, and Trashing. This will give you a visual and help you earn money. Earn money? How? 2. Ask for Help
Get help from others! This is by far the best way to limit stress. You don’t need to move boxes, assemble furniture, or get stuff done. There are a lot of people looking for work and will be more than willing to help. Outsource today!
3. Time Management – Dedicated Time
Many of us like to multitask but doing so when moving can be counterproductive. The best thing you can do is block out time dedicated specifically to one task. This will help you accomplish more and check items off of your list. You will instantly feel accomplished, stress-free, and happy!
4. Don’t Procrastinate
Nothing is more stressful than procrastinating. Why? This eventually leads to having too much to do in too little time. Stress and anxiety will be at an all-time high. It is best to plan, schedule, and implement to ensure you have a stress free move.
